CRITERIUM

Date: Monday, Feb. 20, 2012

Location: Downtown Dinuba, CA 93618, 30 miles southeast of Fresno, CA

Registration: Opens at 7 a.m. at Alta District Historical Museum, K and Ventura, Dinuba. Closes 15 minutes before each race's scheduled start.

Directions: Downtown Dinuba. From Hwy 99, south of Selma. CA, take Mountain View Ave (becomes El Monte) exit east for 12 miles to Dinuba. Turn right on M, (after Alta with the stoplight) to the course. Park on L street east of Tulare, or circle the course on Fresno, I and Kern Streets to get closer to the registration area.

Course: 0.7 mile flat loop of city streets. Same as 2007-11: L Street, Kern, J, Ventura, K, Mono, L (L-shaped course, clockwise). Start/finish on L between Kern and Ventura; registration at K and Ventura Good pavement, one big dip.

**Women's distance will be increased 1 lap for every starter over 10 (up to 20); Women 4 and Women 3 riders will be picked separate for 4 places each ($50) if there are 9 or more of each of them.

How to Enter:

---via On-line at www.BikeReg.com from January 3, 2012 7pm PST to February 12, 2012 for above fees plus on-line surcharge. From Feb 13-15 the fee on-line is $7 additional. No on-line entry after midnight PST Wednesday Feb 15. You’ll need to sign and date your entry form/release at race registration desk.

---By Mail: You may still enter by mail, but if a group is filling, go on-line. By mail, send standard USAC/USAC entry form/release along with fee above (if Postmarked by Friday Feb 10) to Velo Promo/Dinuba, 19780 Soulsbyville Road, Soulsbyville, CA 95372. For those postmarked after, add $7. Note: indicate what category you are entering on check or form. Entries for several races in one envelope ok, but be sure to list race names on the outside. Envelopes without names of races on the outside may go to the wrong race.

---At Race: You may enter at the race, provided your event is not filled, for the above listed fee plus $7.

2012 USAC license required (available at race). One day licenses are available only for Cat 5 or Women 4 . Entry fees include $1 NCNCA and $3 USAC insurance surcharges. Numbers will be provided.

Credits: Credit for another VP race will be given if VP is notified via Tech@BikeReg.com  by 5 pm PST Wednesday 2/15 that you can't compete. No credit issued if you plan to enter another race instead; no cash refunds. No substitutions for cancellations. Send e-mail for credit to Tech@BikeReg.com  .

Champion Discounts: Champions pay normal fees up front; Current NorCal/Nevada District Road Race Champions and National Road Champions will get a refund at the reg desk of all but $3 per day if 1) their entry is received by the deadline above (otherwise they pay full fee, including late fee) and 2) they ride in the category they won the championship in (Master Champions may ride down in age, and ride for $3, and Juniors may ride up. District jersey is not required

Rules: Lapped riders (if allowed to remain in race) may not sprint for primes. .
